Kuttu Ke Pakode

Ingredients

Procedure for making Kuttu ke Pakode

  1. Peel and wash the potatoes and cut into thin round slices.
  2. Sprinkle a pinch of salt and pepper on them and keep aside.
  3. Put oil in a wok and place on heat to get heated.
  4. Meanwhile take kuttu flour in a bowl and add water to it to make a thick batter which can coat the potato slices easily. Batter should not be thin otherwise it will not coat the potato slices
  5. Add salt and pepper to it and mix well.
  6. Place a deep frying pan or wok on medium heat and add cooking oil to it for deep frying.
  7. Dip the potato slices one by one in the batter and after coating the batter nicely drop them in hot oil carefully. Fry the pakodas on medium heat so that potatoes get cooked from the inside and become soft.
  8. Bring the fried pakodas out of the oil and place on a plate lined with paper towels.
  9. Transfer in the serving dish and serve with curd.
